EMMS is an Edinburgh based charity which provides medical care and support to people in India and Malawi. They needed a cohesive identity which would work in the UK (where they raise most of their income) and in the countries they work.

We looked at the flags of each country and realised if we combined elements of both, we could create a new mandala type symbol which would form the basis of the new identity.

Bright vivid colours were chosen for the colour palette to reflect the countries EMMS works in and to be symbolic of optimism for the future.

The identity in use on the charity's subscriber/supporter magazine.

The brand symbol can be used to create new graphic elements such as here. The bicycle was created for some collateral advertising a bike ride in aid of the charity.
